About Jesmich College
A few decades ago, we became bothered by the trend of emigration of adolescents from Ola-Oluwa Local Government Area in search of better secondary school education in the urbans centres, as this may dilute their affection toward the area. This motivated us to seek God’s assistance to arrest the situation through the establishment of a Private Secondary School. The dream became a reality when His Royal Majesty, Oba Nureni Abioye, The Olubode of Bode-Osi land led the formal opening of the school, JESUS MISSION COLLEGE – on the 20th of September, 2008.
At the instance of approval inspection in the year 2010, the name of school was compressed into JESMICH COLLEGE on the advice of the visiting Education Inspector to make the school name portray its co-educational stand. The first batch of students that applied for admission were just sixteen (16) students (Seven (7) Boys and Nine (9) Girls) took our entrance examination on the 10th and 17th September, 2008 respectively. The school commenced her first session on the 22nd of September, 2008 with only one arm of J.S.C. ONE
JESMICH COLLEGE is a learning community committed to academic excellence, spiritual and moral education of the students. To minimize emigration of adolescent/teenagers from Ola – Oluwa Local Government area in search of quality Secondary Education in Urban area and to give quality education to youngers in the council area at reasonable cost.
Our students are being nurtured by certified and experience teachers. JMC is a registered and accredited school, a center for External exams such as Basic Education certificate Examination (BECE), WAEC and NECO exams.
